Reviews for GOODENTIME FESTIVAL, GODNEY

In a world of ever increasing capitilist involvement, it's refreshing to see that grassroots festivals are not a thing of the past. Keeping things local, the family affair that is Goodentime showcases local talent and local foods proving that real talent can be found in even the sleepiest of Somerset hamlets. Authenticity is something that this festival has in plenty, highlighting what you can do with an empty field, a little know-how and an ambition to do something meaningful. A plethora of costumes and festival garb don almost all of the 2 day festival's goers ensuring the atmosphere is light, fun and above all else friendly. Having come to this festival a stranger, it in no way dampened my experience there with the local patrons who were welcoming and all seemed to be striving for a common goal, to have a great weekend. To the organisers and everyone in attendence I can wholeheartedly say, mission accomplished. See you there next year!
